Belle Vue Park Primary School

Kid's Zone - Wellbeing Centre

Our school has been awarded a $180K grant through the Inclusive Schools Fund.

What do we hope to build?
We are hoping to create a multi-function space in the F-2 area which is the final piece of our Community Hub concept.

Where are we in the process?
School Council is currently liaising with the Victorian Schools Building Authority (V.S.B.A.) to seek their approval for the project.

This approval is required because School Council is planning to make additional financial contributions towards the project which would then take the project value over the maximum value allowed under the program guidelines for the Inclusive Schools grant ($400,000)

Because of this, School Council is required to seek additional approval for a School Funded Capital Project (S.F.C.P.)
NWVR Senior provision and planning officers have recently reviewed & supported our proposal which has now been forwarded to the Victorian Schools Building Authority for review and hopefully final approval.

We will keep our community informed in regards to this process.

New Facilities in 2022

NEW GYM FLOOR

We have removed the gym floor and replaced it with a brand-new sprung floor with all court line markings.
The project will ensure many years of safe games and activities. Our students are very excited about the new floor.

We have also completed some much need works to the roof in Block B, as well as a variety of plaster and painting works.
This has made a huge difference.

NEW TOILET BLOCK FOR STUDENTS

The old toilet block in the main building will be completely refurbished in a $495,000 project in a project managed by the Victorian Schools Building Authority. Our School Council has been working to upgrade these facilities for a very long time.

These works will provide much need contemporary toilet facilities for all our students.
