Belle Vue Park Primary School
...where children are supported to take risks with their learning, be independent and seek answers for themselves, whilst being supported, nurtured and encouraged by their teachers...

Our school motto is “Learning for Life”.

There are two components to this - the social/emotional and the academic.

1. Social and Emotional is supported through a number of whole school wide strategies which include student wellbeing, Respect Ambassador Program, Community kids - Responsible kids, and is encompassed in our core school values of :

Honesty
 Respect
  Tolerance

Our School Values underpin the actions and relationships of our students, staff and community members.
We implement a whole school Respect Ambassador Program (R.A.P.) which is based on the concept of students responding to the questions...

is it safe?
is it kind?
is it fair?

There are well defined student leadership roles & opportunities including school and house captains & vice captains, J.S.C. representatives, assembly hosts, buddies program and a variety of leadership forums & opportunities for student voice. Our school offers a range of Student Advisory groups which influence decision making, policies and processes across the school.

2. Academic  achievement is reinforced through a whole school emphasis in the classrooms based around Learning Focus and Learning Effort. This is supported through a framework of whole school agreed teaching processes and the collective responsibility of all staff for all student learning.

Our goal is to create students who are literate, numerate and curious - this is reflected in our key curriculum foci - English Mathematics and Inquiry learning. Our school believes in nurturing the individual to achieve the best that they can.

At Belle Vue Park Primary School our students are supported to take risks with their learning. We encourage them to be independent and seek answers for themselves whilst being supported, nurtured, guided and encouraged by their teachers. At Belle Vue Park we believe all students can learn.

Our philosophy is to provide learning experiences that engage all students in their learning. We encourage curiosity and independence and  promote personal effort & focus.
