Community Hub Services

Community Hub News
One of the benefits of creating a Community Hub, is that it enables schools to form partnerships with other community services and to promote children’s’ learning and development from birth to school age.

Maternal Child Health
Our hub provides wrap-around services including two Maternal Child Health nurses who are embedded in the Hub 4 days per week. Our nurses are available to see mother’s with newborn babies. If you would like to make an appointment to see our nurse Jeanette Gan on 0410078975

Supported Playgroup
Where:       Belle Vue Park Primary School on  
Morell Street, Glenroy              When: Wednesday          Time: 10:00am  to 12:00pm

Moreland City Council are running Supported Playgroup Programs. Playgroup programs are a fun way for children to enhance their social and emotional development. Supported Playgroups are free for families to attend.
Supported Playgroups deliver a program that helps parents improve their children's learning and development while enhancing parent confidence through a program called smalltalk.

Moreland Refugee Social Health Group Playgroup
Where:       Belle Vue Park Primary School  on   
Morell Street, Glenroy            When: Monday               Time; 9:30am to 11:30am 
                    

This playgroup offers opportunities to meet other parent in a friendly and safe environment. For families with babies, toddlers and young children aged 0-5 years

  • Share information about adult, family and children's health
  • Share information about parenting in Australia
